Open Periods Runner Child Program(s) Were Not Kicked Off During Period Opening (Doc ID 2326444.1)

Oracle Incentive Compensation - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

You are using a calendar in Incentive Compensation that has periods previous to the compensation periods that you are going to use with Incentive Compensation.  For example, your calendar starts with period Jan 2010 (2010001), with periods into the future such as Dec 2017 (2017012), but you are not going to process transactions for the salesreps until period Jan 2017.

You know that it is a requirement in Incentive Compensation that before a period can be opened all previous periods must be opened (the periods may also be closed).  With this in mind, you opened the first period of the calendar, Jan 2010.  You noticed that the Open Periods parent program did not submit any Open Periods Runner programs.  When the Open Periods program completed, only the  cn_srp_intel_periods_all table has records for the period.  All of the other srp tables, such as cn_srp_period_quotas_all, cn_srp_per_quota_rc_all, and cn_srp_periods_all are still empty.
