On MFS The Part Requirement Ship To Address Type Field Defaults To Null (Doc ID 2334888.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 01, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Mobile Field Service - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.2.6 Multiplatform Mobile Field Service

In Oracle Mobile Field Service(MFS) when creating a Part Requirement the Ship To Address Type Field defaults to Null.
This allows the user to leave it blank.   When the part requirement is sync'd to the server it causes a problem because the address type is required on the server side application.

Expect the field Address Type to default to same value as it is in Spares Management parts requirement form.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.Log into MFS Application and Navigate to Tasks and choose 'Parts Search'.
2.Click on Add order
3. Observe Address Type Field has a value of Default of null
