Unable to Cancel Sales Order Line(s) in Awaiting Shipping Status With Zero Quantity at Backordered in Shipping

Symptoms

When attempting to cancel Line = 5.1 and Line = 6.1 on Sales Order Number = 60000638, the following error occurs.

ERROR
Note: "You are not allowed to update order line because: Order line has been closed."


STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Via the Order Management Responsibility.
2. Navigate: Orders, Returns > Sales Orders

OU: US OU_IF1544_US
Header status: Booked
Line status of 5.1 and 6.1: Awaiting Shipping

3. Attempt to do Actions > Cancel on Sales Order Lines 5.1 and 6.1.
