After 12.1 HRMS Rup10 Timecards Having Absences Are Not Allowed to be Edited When the Status Allow Edits is set as 'APPROVALS INITIATED' (Doc ID 2337880.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Seeded Timecard Layouts

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
After 12.1 HRMS RUP10 All the timecards   with submitted and /or approved time off on it are no longer editable

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
expected timecards to be editable if it is not transferred yet.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Self Service Timecard Status that Allows User Edits"
 set to APPROVALS_INITIATED
2-enter timecard that has paid vacation hours approved
2. submit timecard
3- timecard is not editable , even status is working and transferred to None
4- if timecard has only regular hours then it will be editable normally .
5- if preference set to Retro then it will be editable again but customer used to use APPROVALS_INITIATED
 

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot update/correct timecards to be processing next payroll this weekend .
