Symptoms

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP10 version, Grade / Step Progression

After EOY patches automatic salary changes with Grade-change are not working

We have a Grade Ladder setup to automatically input a salary record when grade changes occur - this stopped working after EOY Phase 1 2017 patches

Salary record to show new value

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 

1. Using US Super HRMS Manager

2. Navigate to: Person > enter & maintain > assignment > change Grade

3. Issue shows itself here:

    Expecting salary record to be inserted as new Pay Proposal - no new salary record , even though assignment gets updated with the new Position-Grade information
