12.2.5 Correction Is Not Happening On Receipt Which Was Associated With Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) And License Plate Number (LPN) (Doc ID 2346867.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, Materials Management

When attempting to perform correction on receipt which was associated with an Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) and a License Plate Number (LPN) through Receiving Open interface (ROI), find that users are getting the following error.

"The LPN associated with this transaction may have been implicitly unpacked"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1 Manage Shipments form(Organization A)

Shipment number:1
Item Number: AS54888
Shipment Line: 1
Qty Shipped:1000


2 Requisition details:

Order number:1234
Order Line:1
Status: Expected

3 SQL outputs showing:

Shipment_num=1
LPN_ID= 123456
License_plate_number=LPN1
Lpn_context=6


4 Running the custom program to insert the records into rcv_transactions_interface

5 Receipt Transaction Summary form

Showing receipt is created:

Transaction Type: Receive
Amount:1000
Unit:Each
Destination:Receiving
Receipt:654321

6 LPN_CONTEXT is changed to 5;


7 Running the program to create the Deliver and Correction

8 Deliver is created for amount:900;

9 Correction transaction is struck in Rcv_transactions_interface with below error message:

RCV-856 ->The LPN associated with this transaction may have been implicitly unpacked

RCV-856 ->WMSINB-19139:LPN Validation failed.Please check log for details.

RCV-856 ->Cannot read value for profile option INV_DEBUG_TRACE in routine &ROUTINE.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete the Correction transactions.This could lead to delays in order to final customer and loss of revenue.
