History Tab Showing Incorrect Value for Dispute Reason (Doc ID 2349350.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 27, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Collections - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When creating a dispute using certain credit memo reasons, the Dispute Reason shows incorrectly in the History tab.

If the dispute reason is entered as 'Tax Discrepancy', it will show in the History tab as 'Yes'.

The problem only occurs on specific lookup codes.

Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: Collections Agent
: Collections

1.  From Receivables, create a new lookup code for CREDIT_MEMO_REASON as follows:

Meaning = Tax Discrepancy
Description = Erroneous tax charges on invoice
Tag = Checked

2. From Advanced collections, create a dispute using the 'Tax Discrepancy' lookup, and another dispute using the seeded 'Damaged Product'

3. Save the disputes, and click on the History tab -> Disputes. The Dispute Reason shows as 'Yes' for the 'Tax Discrepancy' dispute (incorrect), and shows as 'Damaged Product' for the second (correct)
