R12: WebADI: Custom Value Set Additional Columns are Not Displayed in Journal Integrator WebADI Template (Doc ID 2351156.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 20, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A custom value set is defined with three columns, then this value set is assigned to a new Descriptive Flexfield (DFF).

While in General Ledger, the DFF is entered in the Description area of the Journals form.  After selecting the new context created and after clicking the LOV, all the columns are clearly displayed.

However, when using Web ADI to Launch Journal Wizard the behavior is different as only the first column is shown. The second column is slightly visible and the 3rd column is not visible despite scrolling to the right.

ADI Navigation:
Pick the Layout
Click on the Line DFF context
Pick the Line DFF context, within Journal Integrator template

Then one will see that only the first Column is shown, the second column is slightly visible and 3rd column is not visible despite scrolling to the right.

The expectation is that all the columns should be visible as they are when in the General Ledger Journals form.
