How to Prevent Deceased Employees from Being Eligible for COBRA

When an employee is terminated with Leaving Reason "Deceased", the Death of Employee life event is triggered for the participant.
When the Death of Employee life event is processed, the participant and all the covered employees are ended.
However, the participant is also being found eligible to participate in the COBRA program.
Only the covered dependents should be found eligible.
