Reverse Termination Errors: 'APP-PAY-51271: The Assignment Is Not Eligible for the Element (Doc ID 2353931.1)

When attempting to perform a reverse termination of an employee, the following error occurs.

ERROR:

APP-PAY-51271: The assignment is not eligible for the element.
You may not grant the element to assignment number on . The assignment is not eligible for the element on that date.

Eligibility is determined by the element link. In order to be eligible, the link criteria must be met by the assignment at all times during the life of an element entry.


Steps to Reproduce:
==================
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


  1. XX HRMS Manager
  2. Query for the employee in the Person form.
  2. Click on Others button and select "End Employment"
  2. Select "Reverse Termination".
  3. Click "OK" in the caution box. It then errors.
