WebADI Error: Enter a value that does not exceed the maximum precision of 2

Symptoms
When the Profile Option "BNE: Enable OOXML Standard" = Yes
When an amount cell in a Web ADI template is a formula that references other cells that were copied and pasted in from another spreadsheet where the source is not hard-coded and the data includes an extra space at the end of the data, Fails with:
ERROR
-----------------------
The values entered for the following fields exceed the maximum precision allowable for the selected currency: Credit. Enter a value that does not exceed the maximum precision of 2.
And on all other rows for that journal we get error "Entered amounts for Journal 1 are not balanced."
If we set the OOXML profile = No this same journal uploads successfully.
