(Doc ID 2355105.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Spares Management - Version 12.1.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Spares Logistics
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When attempting to submit a Parts Requirement with 2 or more items The source subinventory is not consistently passed to the Sales order when the order is created.
If the part requirement has one line with a Source Subinventory and one without without a Source Subinventory
The Order created doesn't have the Subinventory defaulted for the item that had the subinventory value passed in the Parts Requirement page.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the Sales Order to have the Subinventory value displayed from the order created from Parts Requirement HTML page.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
(R) Spares Management
(N) Parts Requirement HTML
Create Parts requirement with 5 items:
Lines 1, 2, 4, 5 have a source subinventory defined. (line 3 only has source org)
When the internal order is created, the sales order will have a subinventory
populated for lines 1 and 2 only.
The first time it encounters a line without a subinventory (line 3), it will not pass the subinventory for all subsequent
lines.. ie. the sales order has NULL subinventory for lines 3, 4, 5.
It should pass the subinventory for lines 4 and 5.
