Find Parts Requirements Decimal Less Than 1 "issue" System Created Many ISOs (Doc ID 2355798.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Spares Management - Version 12.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When adding a line item with a decimal (i.e. .75) the parts requirements created many ISOs for the same record and the line status does not change from Requirement to Ordered.
Addition, the created ISO may not appear in the Order Number field.

Steps:

1- Navigate to find parts Requirement screen
2- Search for Service Request or Task
3- Press GO
4- Create requirement
5- Add quantity (i.e. .001 or .01)
6- Search Parts
7- Create order
8- New ISO created

What is Working:

- This issue only happens if required quantity is less than one (0.1, or 0.01)
- The same data in Order Management is working fine when entering decimal numbers less than 1.
