R12.2.6 Incorrect Date Format On Lot Transactions

Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In R12.2.6 , the  lot transactions form shows Attributes and Date in format DD-MMM-1999 even though the actual date in the table level is DD-MMM-2099

Same is seen in the Descriptive Flex Field segment "Lot expiration Date" after selecting the attributes.

 
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Date should display as stored in the table.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Navigate >Inventory >Onhand Availability > Lots

Select the DFF of the lots , the form displays the segment Lot expirate date in format DD-MMM-1999


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:

Due to incorrect display of date format , business users are unable to decide which lots need to be picked.
This impacts the underlying manufacturing processes.

 Upgrade from 11i to R12.2.6
