Symptoms
E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Technology Stack, Database for Applications Technology issues
Attempts to install or add another DB RAC tier node using Rapid Install (RI) fails on some Exadata installations.
While installing the the database, the Rapidwiz process is restarting the Listener and fails with the below error:
Stopping the Listener - /<dir>/ebs/EBS/12.1.0/appsutil/scripts/EBS_test/addlnctl.sh stop EBS
Logfile: /<dir>/ebs/EBS/12.1.0/appsutil/log/EBS_test/addlnctl.txt
You are running addlnctl.sh version 120.4

TNS-01189: The listener could not authenticate the user
addlnctl.sh: exiting with status 1
When manually starting and shutting down the listener it is working fine, so issue may be related to the Virtual IP (VIP).
Entire setup for EBS was done automatically using rapidwiz command including this step.
