Personalization To Make the Exchange Rate Type Field Read-Only in the Requisition Information: Update Selected Line Pop-Up Window Does Not Take Effect (Doc ID 2357990.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle iProcurement - Version 12.2.4 to 12.2.7 [Release 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle iProcurement, Release 12.2.4 through Release 12.2.7, the personalization to make the "Exchange Rate Type" field read-only does not work on the "Requisition Information: Update Selected Line" pop-up window which is opened from the Edit and Submit Requisition page.

The personalization does work properly on the Non-Catalog Request page; however, it is not working on the "Requisition Information: Update Selected Line" pop-up window which is opened from the Edit and Submit Requisition page.
Due to this issue, the business cannot disable other currency type options.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps in a Vision Demo environment:
1. Log in as user CHORTON > iProcurement responsibility.
2. Add a non-catalog request item to cart.
3. View Cart and Checkout > Edit button.
4. On the Edit and Submit Requisition page, select the click and click the Update button.
5. On the "Requisition Information: Update Selected Line" pop-up window, the Exchange Rate Type field value can still be selected by the user.

To perform the personalization:
a. Select the foreign currency.
b. See the "Exchange Rate Type" field now displayed.
c. Click the Personalize Table Layout: (MainTableLayout) link.
d. Click on the personalize icon for the field: Message Choice: Exchange Rate Type
e. Set the Read-Only attribute = "true" and Apply the change.
f. Return to application. It is seen that the user is still able to select/change the Exchange Rate Type value.
