Work Orders Changes and Creations Are Taking Longer Time to Save (Doc ID 2358714.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
The Discrete Job form is taking long time to save (8-10 minutes) to create a job after upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.6 or applying the consolidated patch 25166872:R12.WIP.B.

The Profile "MRP:Consume MPS" is set to "No" in this instance.

According to the trace file while occurring the performance issue, it can confirm the following query is taking the longest time.


Expected Behavior
The Discrete Job form should take a couple of seconds to save.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Responsibility: Work In Process
  2. Navigation: Discrete -> Discrete Jobs.
  3. Query an existing Job OR create a new Job
  4. Make any change on the Job
  5. Click on Save and form takes time to save.
