EBS Timecards Mobile Application: Searching any LOV from mobile with % Returns no results

On 12.2.4 version, Mobile Time Entry

Functionality issues with EBS Timecards mobile application : While using the EBS Timecards mobile app (EBS 12.2.4) customer met issues .

1. Once logged into the application, user cannot use the search function to find a project, task, expenditure type if the entry cell is blank. You need to partially or fully enter details for the search function to work. For example for Task I entered “1-“ and the search function found “1-Absence”.
If entered Absence then it was not found. On Expenditure type if entered “Pub” then nothing is found. If entered “Public” then Public Holiday was found. Search for Regular hours by Reg and no result. Has to be Regular. Cannot search on a blank.

2. If you enter the project code and then do a search for the task type. If the search does not find a task and you go back to the time entry screen then the project number disappears. It does not happen every time.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Use OTL Mobile
2. Use Self service page to search
3. Search is not returning values even if those are in database
