BI Publisher 12c Enterprise Data Model Report Schedule Trigger Disappears In a Copied Report Job Or In The Job Edit Page (Doc ID 2360043.1)

Symptoms

BI Publisher 11.1.1.9 / 12c Enterprise Data Model Editor issues

 

 

 


BI Publisher users are reporting issues with the following sequence of steps:

1. A report (same one for each instance) has a Schedule Trigger defined in it's Data Model.

2. A Report Job is created for this report:
    A. The Use Trigger box is checked
    B. The Data Model is identified.
    C. The Trigger is selected.

3. Now users select Edit this Report Job:
    A. go to Schedule tab.
    B. In 11.1.1.7 the Trigger definition is displayed.
    C. In 12c the Trigger definition is not displayed (meaning you have to select 'Use Trigger' again and re-setup the trigger definition).
