Incorrect Quality Specification Defaulted When Formula Line Is Entered In The Validity Rule (Doc ID 2362753.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 20, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Product Development - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Application Release 12.2.6, following issue has been found

For a by-product item from a batch, there are 2 WIP quality specification validity rules, against SAME recipe, formula and routing.
The only difference between the validity rule is the Line information, i.e. first is having Line 1 while second is having Line 2.
Then, from a batch, where same by-product item exists with 2 lines assigned to same batch step, select second line of the by-product and tried to create a sample.
After entering the details on the Item Sample, including the aspect related to Line = 2, when invoking Get Spec button, user is presented, by default with the Specification having a validity rule against Line 1.
