(Doc ID 2362918.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Is it possible to define the Item Primary UOM in Each (class of Quantity) in item master and Purchasing UOM in ASL record as OUNCE (Class of weight) for the same item.

Example:

Item XYZ , Primary UOM at item master is "Each".

"Each" belongs to UOM Class Quantity.

Purchasing UOM in ASL record for the same item XYZ is OUNCE but OUNCE belongs to the UOM Class of "Weight"

How can this be accomplished?
