Symptoms

"Create Settlement Batches" program fails with the following error:

 

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20000: IBY_20220#ERRMSG=Payee Bank Branch BIC or Branc (ERR_OBJECT=Batch name)

ORA-06512: at "APPS.IBY_TRANSACTIONEFT_PKG", line 2209

ORA-06512: at "APPS.IBY_TRANSACTIONEFT_PKG", line 1224

ORA-06512: at line 1

 

 

NOTE: The error message is truncated in the logs. The complete error message is "Payee Bank Branch BIC or Branch Number is required".

 

 

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login with "Funds Capture Process Manager" responsibility
  2. Run request "Create Settlement Batches".
