'The maximum value size for segment Context is 80' When Opening Quote Header DFF Created from RFQ
Last updated on APRIL 09, 2018
Applies to:Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When copying a RFQ with DFF values to a Quote, the following Note pops up when header DFF is opened in Quotation form: "The maximum value size for segment Context is 80. Truncating value XXXX to XXX"
If the user clicks OK at the Note, Quotation DFF opens. If the user enters or just OK the Quotation DFF, the truncation Note will no longer pop up.
But if Cancel is clicked on Quotation DFF, the truncation Note pops up every time Header DFF is opened.
The note "The maximum value size for segment Context is 80. Truncating value XXXX to XXX" does not pop up when copying a RFQ with DFF values to a Quote.
Steps to Reproduce
- REQ's and Quotations > RFQ's
- Create a RFQ and enter header DFF so that concatenated DFF length becomes longer than 80 bytes.
- Tools > Copy Document --> RFQ to Quotation form opens
- Click DFF
