IRAS - Section 45 Indicator Cannot Be Blank If Employee Is A Non-Resident Director. (Doc ID 2367851.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (Singapore) - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Based on new <Patch 26908491>, there is a new validation for IRAS file "Section45 indicator cannot be blank, if the Employee ID type is not NRIC, or if, Employee ID type is NRIC but nationality is not SG and designation
is Director".

For an employee who is not Singaporean and is a Director.
IRAS confirmed that for this director, since he is a Singapore PR, there is no need for him to submit section 45.
When we enter Section 45 Applicable = No or blank, it errors:

LIN Grp 1 (LIN=6) Section 45 indicator cannot be blank if employee is a Non-Resident Director.
