Lease Open Interface Populating Random Cust Account Id in Okc_k_lines_b (Doc ID 2369989.1)

Last updated on JULY 14, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Lease Authoring

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When importing a batch of contracts using the lease open interface with some of them having install_cust_acct_id populated, other contract lines (okc_k_lines_b) being imported are populated with random cust_acct_id which is not related to the customer of that specific contract. This is causing downstream issues in the invoicing interface with invalid ship to account and address.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

When importing a batch of contracts using the lease open interface with some of them having install_cust_acct_id populated, other contract lines should not get populated with random cust_acct_id

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Populate the interface tables with a batch of contracts with install_cust_acct_id populated for some of them.
2. Run the lease open interface program.
3. Review the imported contracts to observe the issue.
