Average Overhead Cost Not Calculated (Doc ID 2372997.1)

The Overhead cost is not defaulted/created when we create certain items. We have material Overhead Defaults created for the category.

These items for which the overhead cost is not working, are Make Item in the Global master organization and Buy item in the assigned org.

So when we create this item in the assigned org, it is created as Make item and then we go and change the item to "Buy" item, when created in the assigned org.

When we change the item to "Buy" it should create the overheads. but it is not doing it. But if we create the item as "Buy" item in the Master org and assigned to the assigned org, then it creates the overheads as expected.

The assigned org uses Average costing method.

Why is this not achieving overhead?
