Oracle iStore Gives An Invalid Redirect Has Been Blocked Error While Redirecting User To External Site (Doc ID 2377001.1)

On : 12.2.6 version, Checkout and Order Placement

When attempting to launch an external URL from iStore, the following error occurs.

An invalid redirect has been blocked

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to iStore and click on the External URL link to launch the page
2. Gives error => An invalid redirect has been blocked

3. Link works fine, if access directly in the browser

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot launch an external URL from iStore.
