Configurator Autocomplete Displays Some Components as Autocompleted Unexpectedly When Selecting with Implies Statement Rules (Doc ID 2378704.1)

Last updated on JUNE 03, 2019

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

While configuring a published user interface for an R12 fusion configurator model, it's observed that when making expected selections through the user interface that several optional components are showing as 'Autocompleted' when they should have been selected through implies statement rules. Before finishing, when selecting 'Preview Configuration' it appears as though the optional components are selected, but once proceeding and selecting finish they're marked as being auto completed. Selected components are still correct, this issue concerns specifically why these components were marked as auto completed.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Since statement rules should have been selecting these optional components with an Implies rule, it's not expected that the autocomplete process will mark these records as processed when finishing the configuration.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch published UI
2. Make user interface selections for model, choose options associated with implies rule
3. Select Finish
4. Review the model, observe optional component marked for auto complete
