While Trying to Cancel a OSP Job, Message Comes Up That PO/requisition Was Not Automatically Canceled

Goal
While trying to cancel a Job, getting a below error note. Why we are getting this error?
Also if user selects Cancelled status and got this Note then that Job should not be cancelled. User doesn't want to cancel this type of Job in this case.
PO/requisition was not automatically canceled.
Cause: PO/requisition cannot be canceled if:
1. PO/requisition was in a status other than Approved, or Rejected.
2. PO/requisition was already closed, or finally closed, or canceled, or put on hold. PO PO_CUSTOM_MSG N
