Amount Does Not Calculate if Updating Qty/Price Before the Mandatory DFF Is Populated (Doc ID 2380020.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle iProcurement - Version 12.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A mandatory DFF field is set on the requisition header in the Shopping Cart page via personalization.
When a user fills in the quantity and price fields before populating the DFF field, the Amount does not calculate correctly (based on the price x quantity calculation).
However, if the mandatory DFF field is instead populated first - before filling out the line level fields (quantity and price) - in this case, the Amount is calculated correctly.

The expected behavior is that regardless of the order fields are filled out in the form, the Amount should calculate correctly.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Sign in to iProcurement
2. Add an item to the cart
3. From the Shopping Cart, update the Quantity and Price fields (The DFF field has not been populated yet)
4. Populate the DFF field - The amount field is still shown as 0 (Hasn't recalculated based on Quantity and Price)
5. Submit the Requisition
6. Review the Requisition details and the amount still shows as 0

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are submitting requisitions with inaccurate amounts.
