Network Routing Fails When a Routing Constraint Is Assigned to the Order (Doc ID 2383426.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Operational Planning - Version 6.4.2 to 6.4.3 [Release 6.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The customer has created a routing constraint that specifies a specific location be used in the network route. When they use the constraint on the Order Release and run "Show Network Routing Options", no possible routes are returned yet when they do not put the constraint on the order, it returns two routes and one of the routes includes the location that is specified in the Routing Constraint which demonstrates that it is a possible route. When the constraint is placed however it is no longer showing as a possible route.
