R12:AP: AP Workflow Worklist Gives Insufficient Privileges Error When Clicking On Addition Details Of A Notification After Switching Users

Symptoms

In the Payables Workflow Worklist, and switching users, and attempting to view invoice details, getting an insufficient privileges error.

Reproducible Test Case

Logon as USER-A

NOTE window:
You have nnnn open notifications in your Worklist.
Please use the Workflow Worklist to view and respond to your notifications.

(OK button)

Responsibilities:

Select your responsibility.
The Notification Summary is selected and it shows Advanced Workflow Worklist.

Log on as USER-B

NOTE window:
You have nnnn open notifications in your Worklist.
Please use the Workflow Worklist to view and respond to your notifications.

(OK button)

Responsibilities:

Select your responsibility.
Client has Notification Summary selected.

There are now 2 users logged into the instance from 1 machine.

While still logged in as USER-B, navigate to the Workflow Worklist

Navigator - Payables Manager
Functions - Workflow:Worklist

Then click the BELL icon.
Then click “Go To Full Worklist” from the drop down.
Then click the Home icon
Then click the Switch Users icon (to the right of the bell icon)
Then select USER-A
Then click any invoice.

In upper right corner: Logged In As USER-B Proxy For USER-A

Top Half of the screen presented after clicking invoice 1234.

An invoice requires your approval, and this invoice is selected.

Bottom Half of the screen presented after clicking invoice 1234.

When USER-B clicks on the “View Additional Invoice Details” link, the following error is encountered

Error: You have insufficient privileges for the current operation. Please contact your System Administrator.
