DFF Issue on Upgrade from 11.5.10 to 12.2. 6

Problem Description
---------------------------------------------------
When upgraded from 11.5.10 to 12.2.6 the DFF’s (Descriptive Flex Filed) on the Serial Number are copied on the Item Instance Details DFF in Install Base. This was done as part of the upgrade since it is updated by Sysadmin. Why it created the DFF’s from the Serial Number on to the Oracle Install Base Instance Details?
