Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Error when compiling Fast Formula DIRECT_EARNINGS_ATTACHMENT.

APP-FF-33005: The local variable DIRECT_EARNINGS_ATTACHMENT_ASG_RUN was used before being initialize;

 

The error can appear also when running Payroll processes (for employees having Element Type Direct Earnings Attachment) like : Quick Pay, Payroll run, Retropay Enhanced

HR_6867_HRPROC_FMLA_ORA_ERR
ORACLE_ERROR_TEXT
FORMULA_ERROR_TEXT A compiled version of the formula 5077 cannot be found. Check that it exists and has been compiled before attempting to run it.
APP-PAY-06867: An error occurred during formula execution:

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  using UK HRMS responsibility > Compile formula DIRECT_EARNINGS_ATTACHMENT

or:

  1. run a payroll process for an employee having 'Direct Earnings Attachment' element
