Web ADI 12.2.6 and Downloading Digitally Signed Spreadsheets with Microsoft Office 2007 (Doc ID 2388106.1)

 After you apply Web ADI Release 12.2.6, users must follow the steps listed here in order to download digitally signed Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator documents in Microsoft Office 2007.

The reason is that the signature certificate has been upgraded to SHA-256 and as described in Microsoft KB Article 3090063, macro-enabled Microsoft Office documents that are digitally signed with SHA-256 may not be recognized when a user opens them in Microsoft Office 2007.

Consequently, users may now encounter an issue if they attempt to view Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator spreadsheets signed with SHA-256 in Microsoft Office 2007.
