LOCATION_ID Column Is Not Getting Populated in RCV_TRANSACTIONS Table for Return Transaction (Doc ID 2391419.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.2 version, Receiving Functions

In RCV_TRANSACTIONS table, LOCATION_ID column is not populated for return transactions (RETURN TO VENDOR/RETURN TO RECEIVING).

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.Navigate to Purchasing responsibility>Receiving>Receipts/Receiving Transactions.

2. Try to Receive/Deliver Purchase Order with locator information.

In rcv_transactions table, see LOCATION_ID is populated for the Receive and Deliver transactions.

3.Go to Returns form to return above Purchase Order, see LOCATION_ID field is not populated in rcv_transactions table

  for the RETURN transactions, this includes RETURN TO VENDOR and RETURN TO RECEIVING transaction types.

3. Try to return the Purchase Order from iProcurement, then Location ID is getting populated as expected for Return transaction types.
