After Installing New Contract Expert Engine, Existing PO Revision Erroring Out When Approving The PO (Doc ID 2391798.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.6 version, Contract Expert

After installing the new contract expert engine, existing PO revisions error when approving the PO.

When revising a contract one has to re-answer the questions in the new Contract Expert engine. In R12.1.3 the user could answer the questions, Save Responses, and Cancel and then approve the PO.

In 12.2.6 the user is prevented from approving the PO.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Locate a contract that hasn't had Contract Expert run since the new engine was implemented.

2. Launch Contract Expert and answer the questions
2a. It is forcing to Use Contract Expert to answer all of the questions. The all question starts from the scratch.

3. Click Save Responses

4. Click Cancel to exit Contract Expert

5. Attempt to approve the contract.
