Problem With Decimal Quantities Not Rounding To Whole Number After Pick and Ship (Doc ID 2392280.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 25, 2019

Oracle Shipping Execution - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Pick release should not split the line into decimal quantity based on unit of measure conversion.

Observe this issue daily where after the pick and ship confirm is done, the Quantity on the order line has 4 decimal places.

This occurs when there is a conversion on an item from one UOM to another UOM.

1 Box (CX) equals 30 units (PC):

Original Ordered Quantity for line is 12 PC
Shipment was done on delivery 282597039 for Quantity .33333 (CX). (.33333 x 30 = 9.9999)

After the shipment, system changes order line to show Ordered Quantity = 9.9999 (PC)
System also creates split order line for remaining Quantity 2.0001

This fractional decimal Quantity is a problem.
Need the system to round up to the whole integer, in this case 10 (PC).
