Contract Template Is Printed On PO After Is Autocreated From RFQ When It Is Not Assigned PO Document (Doc ID 2392967.1)

Symptoms


Customer Requirements is to print Contract terms and conditions only on Sourcing RFQ and does not want to print on certain standard purchase orders.

So different templates are setup to address those scenarios.

One of the contract template is assigned to only RFQ document type only.

But when this template is used for sourcing it is appearing on the Purchase order document when PO is auto-created from Sourcing RFQ.

Customer Requirements is to print Contract terms and conditions only on Sourcing RFQ and does not want to print on certain standard purchase orders.


In PO terms form also if we go into terms and click on "manage contract documents" this template will not show up to use.

Customer believes the contents of these templates should not print on the Printed PO



STEPS TO RECREATE THE ISSUE
-----------------------

  1. Login to Contract terms library admin
  2. Create a contract template
  3. Assign the Contract Template output to RFQ doc type only
  4. Create RFQ template with the contract template
  5. Create an RFQ
  6. Put suppliers and other info on it
  7. Login as a supplier and choose an isupplier responsibility and enter quote
  8. Accept quote-close RFQ/award process and award to supplier from quote and create po
  9. A PO iss created with the template in it
