Self Service Update Asset Number Throw Error due to Performance

Information in this document applies to any platform.
On : 12.2.6 version,
When performing Update Asset Number in self service pages, the page is hanging out and after 15 min the page is opened.
Expect the update page to appear faster.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Maintenance Super user responsibility
2. Asset page
3. Search for asset and update it via the Update pencil icon
4. observe performance of the page
