Configurable Item Not Added To The Cart After Choose Finish Button and "IPL: Price Was Not Found On Price Lis" in the log is not displayed to the iStore user (Doc ID 2396691.1)

On : 12.2.6 version, Shopping Cart Related

IPL: Price was not found on price list - Not shown in iStore

Configured a Model in iStore and the configuration shows as complete, however, it is not getting saved to shopping cart.

One of the Options used in the configured Model was not present on price list.

Since no error message is displayed to users they are unable to know the cause why the completed configuration did not get saved to cart successfully.

Expect a pricing error to be returned to the user.




The iStore Java debug log shows the pricing error "IPL: Price was not found on price list <price list name> for this item XYZ and uom EA"



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Login to iStore as the IBE_CUSTOMER
Choose and configure a model
Configurator completes
Item not saved to the shopping cart

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users do not have get any pricing error message causing confusion as to why the item is not in the cart.
