Brazilian AR Localization Process Has Started Creating The Journal Entries (Doc ID 2400142.1)

Oracle Receivables - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

New Journals are getting created from Brazilian Receivables with a Journal source as Receivables and category as Remittance in gl_interface.

These are equal debit and credit lines that net to zero and so they do not affect any account balance. These appear to be from the Brazilian Bank Remittance process.

Note: These entries were created with Journal source as Receivables and category as Remittance but to restrict them from importing in GL as these are Bank transactions and business does not want to post them.

Custom trigger on gl_interface table exists to update the Journal source as Receivables_Obsolete and category as Remittance_Obsolete and updating attribute8 as old user_je_source_name i.e. Receivables and attribute9 as user_je_category_name i.e. Remittance.
