Business events are not raised for contacts for customer account merge

Merge Customer A to Customer B together with Contact A from Customer A to Customer B (used transfer option for the contact).
The customer merge process worked alright. While merging two accounts, no business events are raised for account contacts which
are being moved to the new account. 

Should event be raised? If not, what is the business event should be raised?
