12.2 E-Business Suite Applications Framework Forms Focus Jumps To The Top Of The Page After Entering A Field Or Selecting From The List Of Values (LOV) (Doc ID 2413193.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Applications Framework - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The Forms focus on any E-Business forms page jumps to the top of the screen when selecting from a List Of Values or entering data in a field.

Also when a user is entering / selecting information in a E-Business form, changing fields using the tab key can move the cursor (focus) to the top of the page.

This results in the user having to scroll back down to the previous position on the form for the next entry.

For example when updating work order and changing the department for operation 40-60 on the second page of the operations table, exiting the Department field via the tab key changes the form view to operation 10 - 30.

It does not remain in the same spot on the same page.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Update a form LOV value
2. Select the tab key to exit the field
3. Observe the cursor jumps to the top of the page after tabbing out of the field.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue users cannot be certain on the information as they need to validate it again, and this is time consuming and can incur production capacity delays.
