Oracle Workflow Builder 2.6.3.5 Installer Does not Launch on Windows 10 64 Bit PC (Doc ID 2413835.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Workflow Builder 2.6.3.5 (using <Patch 6970344 >) in Windows 10 - 64 bit cannot be installed.

Using paramFile: C:\OWF_Clt_2635_WINNT\wfclient2635\install\oraparam.ini
Checking installer requirements...
Checking operating system version: must be 4.0, 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2. Actual 5.1 Passed
Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors. Actual 4294967296 Passed
Checking swap space: must be greater than 1535 MB. Actual 1937207140MB Passed
All installer requirements met.

It reflects everything passed, but the workflow builder installation UI is not opening.

 

STEPS

-----------

1.  After unzipping the patch ,  Go to the directory 'Disk1\install\win32' in the installation folder
2. Right click on 'Setup.exe' and click on properties
3. Go to the Compatibility tab and select checkbox 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) from drop down
4. Run the 'Setup.exe' and installer is still not launched
5. click on 'Run compatibility troubleshooter' and select 'Try recommended settings'
6. Click on 'Test the program' and once it is success you can click on Next  installer still does not launch
