Repatriation of Globally Deployed Person Results in User-Defined Exception (Doc ID 2414431.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Application Error has occurred in your process Return deployment proposal performed on LastName, FirstName

The changes were not applied because User-Defined Exception

 In the wfstat.sql output we can see the following:

%%%% PER_52388_USES_TOBACCO_F (FND_ERROR_LOCATION_FIELD=PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F.USES_TOBACCO_FLAG) (FND_MESSAGE_TYPE=E)

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  XX HRMS Manager

  2. Navigate: Global Deployments > Search based on business group and employee name
     
  3.  Click on initiate Return

  4. Select end date, leaving reason and leaving person type

  5. Submit for approval

  6. Login as the manager of the person who initiated the Repatriation and click on Approve

  7. Once the approval is done, log back as the user who initiated the repatriation. 

  8. The notification received has an error.
