Symptoms
When running a payroll process or a seeded API (like PAY_ELEMENT_ENTRY_API) for assignments with elements handled by fast formulas below error occurs:
FORMULA_ERROR_TEXT ORA-34 occurred at line <LINE_NUMBER> of formula [FORMULA_NAME]
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.a)Under HRMS Manager Responsibility or equivalent > Go To View > Requests > Run Payroll Process (for example: Payroll Run).
OR
1.b)Run API (for example:PAY_ELEMENT_ENTRY_API).
2. Observe above error is displayed.
Changes
Upgrade instance to/above HRMS 12.1 RUP 11 / HRMS 12.2 RUP 12.
