12.2 E-Business Users Are Unable To Access My Oracle Support Due To Message 'Please enter a valid My Oracle Support userid' Or 'Unable to connect to Metalink' (Doc ID 2417339.1)

 E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Technology Stack, Database for Applications Technology related issues






Users are unable to connect to My Oracle Support, instead the following message is received:

'Please enter a valid My Oracle Support userid and password to on Proxy Server Port 10000'

The error also occurs in the Applications Manager (OAM) responsibility when trying to download Patches as the following error occurs :

'Unable to connect to Metalink. Please enter a valid Metalink userid and password. Please also check if the Web Proxy Setup information is correct.'
