Collection Plan Elements With Reserved Words In Name Are Renamed With '@'

We have collection plans with elements that use reserved words in their name. We recently completed a system upgrade to 12.2, as well as applied some patches. Since have noticed that the '@' symbol was appended to the beginning of the element names. Is there a process that is part of upgrade or of patching that searches and renames collection plan elements with the '@' to serve as a 'flag' that the element name is using a reserved word?
If so, it seems that process is missing a step to rebuild the associated collection plan VIEWS that have been build in support of the collection plan? Does Oracle provide a solution to address the rebuilding of collection plan views when an element name is modified during a system upgrade or patching process?
