Applies to:

Oracle Human Resources - Version 12.1 HRMS RUP10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP10 version, Costing Setup and Processes

In HR Application Users are not able to terminate employees because Costing Process overrides the date earned of all employee
with the maximum date earned of Payroll Action and not on the basis of individual date earned of Payroll action.

Employee date earned shouldn't be overridden by maximum date earned from another employee run.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Payroll run for Employee X in Feb 2018
2. Run costing for Feb 2018 with date start feb 2018
3. There was one employee ( employee Y) picked up in the costing process that has quickpay run for date paid Feb 2018 but for pay period start 28-Dec-2018 and hence costing override the date earned for all employees in this run with dte earned 28-Dec-2018
4. When try to terminate employee X . got error APP-PAY-06517 You Cannot Set A Final Process Date if final process date before 28-Dec-2018
